LTD “Geo Flower” – Dried Fruit & Medical Herb Production

LTD “Geo Flower” is a dried fruits and medical herbs producer based in Western Georgia. Since 2007, the company specializes in processing and drying of fruits and medical herbs. With an aim to further improve product quality and increas e ex ports, the company invested in procurement and installation of belt drier (with gas burner) for fruits and leaves; a drum washing, a nettle cutting, a bubble washing and a leaves pressing machines. Apart from these, the company managed to construct a new p roduction plant, a training centre and a warehouse for raw materials. With this investment, HACCP practices and ISO22000:2005 certification was achieved and compliance with EU and international product standards was reached. Additional benefits from the in vestment were a wider international customer base and, due to increased product quality, a higher sales price for the end product . The investment was realized with a EU4Business – EBRD Credit Line loan and, after successful verification process LTD “Geo Flow er” received a 15% grant equalling 19,335.66 Euros.

LTD “Kvareli Cellar” – Wine & Spirits Production

LTD “Kvareli Cellar” invested in a new production line and auxiliary equipment, which improve the production quality, health and safety and a safe work environment in the company. This enables the company to increase its export potential to EU countries. The investment was realized with a EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line loan and, after successful verification, LTD “Kvareli Cellar” received a 15% grant, equalling € 73,500.

Food processing company LTD Kumisi XXI invests in new machinery

With a loan and grant from the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line, LTD “Kumisi XXI” financed the procurement and installation of egg grading and packaging machine MOBA 2500. The new machinery facilitates high quality sorting-packaging processes, ensures food safety and increased hygiene in production process. The project allowed the company to implement HACCP practices, ISO 22000:2005 Certification, compliance with EU and international production standards and to keep personal hygiene and labor safety rules in the factory. After project verification the company received 15% of the loan amount as a grant cashback.

LLC Sakinvesti Invests in Energy Efficiency and Meets Several EU Regulations

LLC Sakinvesti refurbished a cold storage warehouse with efficient sandwich panels, doors and accessories for refrigeration with a loan from the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line. As part of the project the company also installed new loading bays, tambour and improved the administration office and access road. With this investment improved environmental protection standards were reached and LLC Sakinvesti will benefit from significant energy savings, reduction of water drainage and improved occupational Health and Safety standards. The new equipment is fully compliant with EU ODS standards. After project verification, the company received 15% of the loan amount as a grant cashback.
