Greener Paper Products

Neoprint LLC has been providing customers in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan with high quality printing products since 2009. Located in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of Georgia and a 2,200 m2 production facility, the company produces carton and corrugated paper products used in Buildings (such as paper sandwich panels) and for packaging.

A main focus of Neoprint is on green production. The production processes are set up to minimize any waste, using very modern production lines, the raw materials are almost exclusively paper wastes collected from other businesses and thereby considerably reducing the need for imported carton and other paper materials. As a result, the company prides itself in recycling ten thousand tonnes of wastepaper per year and substituting 7,200 tonnes of imports.

Taking its dedication to green production one step further, Neoprint invested in a Solar PV installation to reduce its energy consumption and carbon emissions. Apart from the positive effect on the company’s environmental impact, the subsequent reduction in energy costs also contributes to its competitiveness in Georgia and abroad.

After the successful implementation and verification of this project, the company received 15% of the loan value as a grant incentive, funded under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.
