LLC Sakinvesti invests in energy efficiency and meets several EU regulations

LLC  Sakinvesti refurbished a cold storage warehouse with efficient sandwich panels, doors and accessories for refrigeration with a loan from the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line. As part of the project the company also installed new loading bays, tambour and improved the administration office and access road. With this investment improved environmental protection standards were reached and LLC 

Sakinvesti will benefit from significant energy savings, reduction of water drainage and improved occupational Health and Safety standards. The new equipment is fully compliant with EU ODS standards. After project verification, the company received 15% of the loan amount as a grant cashback, funded under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.

Value Added Benefits:

  • Primary Energy Use Avoided: 257 MWh/yr
  • GHG Emissions Avoided: 29 t CO2/year;
  • The project reduces primary energy consumption by an average of 42.5% compared to the baseline
